Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of https://privatestudentloanadvocate.com/ (the "Site"), which is owned and operated by JOCO Enterprises LLC under the trade name Private Student Loan Advocate ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or submitting a form on it, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Who we are and what we do
Private Student Loan Advocate is a private student loan payment relief consulting organization. We help borrowers and cosigners understand their private student loan situation and, when appropriate, match them with an independent partner provider.
We are not a law firm, lender, loan provider, debt collector, debt settlement company, debt consolidation company, or credit repair organization. We do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. We do not assume consumer debt and we do not make payments to creditors on your behalf. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency or program.
Independent partner providers
Services such as debt validation, hardship or modification negotiation, and consolidation or refinancing strategies are performed by independent partner providers, not by us. A provider discloses its fees to you in writing, and you contract directly with it. We do not control the providers’ services, and their terms, fees, and policies apply to any agreement you make with them.
Ratings, BBB accreditation, and industry tenure referenced on this Site belong to our partner provider, not to us.
No guarantee of results
Information on the Site, including references to potential payment reductions of up to 50%, describes possibilities, not promises. Results vary based on individual financial circumstances, loan terms, lender or servicer programs, and other factors. Program length, eligibility, requirements, fees, and outcomes can vary, and results are not guaranteed.
Enrolling in a debt program may affect your credit standing. Withholding payments to a lender can result in late fees, added interest, negative credit reporting, collection activity, or legal action. Please review any provider’s disclosures carefully before you decide.
Free consultation
Your initial inquiry and consultation are offered at no cost, and requesting one does not obligate you to purchase or enroll in anything. A free consultation does not mean every service is free. If a paid service is recommended or selected, applicable fees and terms should be reviewed before you agree to proceed.
Eligibility and availability
Our services focus only on private student loans. Federal student loan borrowers can access free programs directly at studentaid.gov. Our services are not available in all states, including South Carolina and Mississippi. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site or submit a form.
Your information and consent to be contacted
When you submit the application form, you agree to be contacted by Private Student Loan Advocate about your private student loan options at the phone number and email address you provide, which may include calls, text messages, and emails. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of receiving a consultation. You may withdraw your consent at any time by telling us. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
Please provide accurate and complete information, and avoid including highly sensitive personal information, such as your Social Security number, full bank account number, or passwords, in any form on the Site.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site to break the law, submit false or misleading information, interfere with the Site’s operation or security, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or copy or scrape the Site’s content by automated means without our written permission.

The Site’s content, design, text, graphics, and logos are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our prior written permission. Third-party names and marks, including the names of lenders and servicers mentioned on the Site, belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe the loans our network works with; their use does not imply affiliation or endorsement.
Third-party links

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any information on it is complete, current, or suited to your circumstances.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our owners, officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Site or from services you obtain from an independent provider. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to the Site and these Terms

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which JOCO Enterprises LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
